Your first few sessions will focus on a thorough intake and assessment. During this time, we’ll explore your current concerns, history, and goals so I can gain a clear understanding of what you’re navigating and how best to support you.
As therapy continues, our work will include building insight, processing both present and past experiences, identifying patterns, and developing practical tools you can use in your daily life. I’ll also offer psychoeducation along the way to help you better understand your symptoms and progress. A typical session lasts about 55 minutes.
Most clients meet weekly, though session frequency can be adjusted based on your needs and goals.

Yes. EMDR is highly effective via telehealth. I use a secure platform and tools that allow for bilateral stimulation and deep processing from the comfort of your own space. You may even find it easier to go inward and process while in your own familiar environment. Research confirms that EMDR done online is just as effective as EMDR in person.
